Staithes has become 'haunted' with artists... the light has that certain 'something' that artists love... the vibrant fishing community that once formed the village of Staithes was an attraction that few artists could resist painting... the dramatic seascapes... the picturesque scenery... and the village clinging to the cliffs... all of these attractions and more have kept artists coming to the village...
